Development service provider Bertrandt is also feeling the effects of the recovery emerging in the international markets. Revenues rose by 3.7 percent, rising to EUR 304.7 million in the first nine months of fiscal 2009/2010 (previous year: EUR 293.8 million). Operating profit was up as well to EUR 29.8 million as of 30 June 2010 (previous year: EUR 25.8 million). Earnings after income tax climbed to EUR 22.4 million (previous year: EUR 19.9 million). Group-wide, Bertrandt employed 6,111 people on 30 June 2010 (previous year: 5,476).

The Bertrandt Group’s business performance was solid during the first half of its 2009/2010 financial year in a mixed market setting. As at 31 March 2010, Bertrandt generated revenues in the amount of EUR 194.6 million (previous year: EUR 209.8 million). Operating profit came to EUR 19.9 million (previous year: EUR 19.4 million). Earnings after income taxes amounted to EUR 15.3 million (previous year: EUR 15.3 million). Looking at the second quarter on its own reveals a slight uptrend versus the same quarter of the previous year. On 31 March 2010 the Bertrandt Group employed 5,749 people.
